About this deal

Although I clearly indicated that my problem is a BIOS problem and I need the BIOS settings from them, they continued to force me to install windows.

Where can I download the drivers for my Geo device?

Additionally, the GeoFlex touchscreen laptop makes the most of any available hotspot using ultra-fast AC WiFi, while Bluetooth® allows the wireless connection of speakers, headphones, smartphones and more. In the end I switched to a Surface Pro laptop/tablet but I ended up needing a lot more horsepower than I originally planned. Use GeoFlex in laptop mode as your portable workspace, prop it up in tent mode as a mini movie screen or make it your recipe assistant in the kitchen. I’ve had to do a LOT of reading around this new way of adding expansion devices to computers because I haven’t really played with hardware for quite some time. Use GeoFlex in laptop mode as your portable workspace, flip it into tablet mode to relax on the sofa, prop it up in tent mode as a mini movie screen or make it your recipe assistant in the kitchen.

For some of my other reasons for liking this laptop, read my review of the GeoFlex 2 in 1 Laptop here. I didn’t look particularly closely at the motherboard, but I couldn’t see any obvious SODIMM slots or similar. After trying many things to make the WIFI work in Linux, I have finally decided to switch back to Windows 10.

ports and a Micro-HDMI ready for connection to external devices such as storage or displays, plus a headphone jack. inch Windows 11 convertible laptop with a Full HD IPS touchscreen, a premium full-metal silver exterior and a rapid 128GB Solid State Drive (SSD) for storage. It’s a small expansion slot, which takes cards that are generally 22mm wide and either 30, 42, 60 or 80mm in length. A 1-year subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal is included with GeoFlex 230, offering access to leading productivity software such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint and more. There may have been a soft-key though, perhaps one of the function keys with the Fn button held down?inch laptop, while a Full HD (1920 x 1080) touchscreen display delivers clear, crisp images even at wide angles. But for writing blog posts, or administering machine remotely – which is what I wanted it for, it is absolutely perfect. This is very much not for beginner users, but I have installed both CloudReady from Neverware, and PrimeOS on this laptop and both worked quite well.

Stuck in tablet mode, it doesn’t seem to connect to the physical keyboard despite multiple restarts, un- and re-installing keyboard, uninstalling Windows 11 (which is so annoyingly secretive about where it hides settings and functions), and a great many swear words hurled at it. Secondly it’s possible, if you have the drivers already, that somehow the WiFi has managed to get disabled in the BIOS, or through the use of one of the Fn keys. I haven’t looked, but it’s likely to be a surface mount device with pins underneath and would require hot air soldering at best. My slot doesn’t have this semi-circle, although I can see the pins under the back cover at the other end of the slot. Just wondering whether there is still an m2 slot underneath it and whether I need to take the whole panel off?Perhaps im missing something, because I would have presumed I could enable/disable the Bluetooth in the BIOS but I cannot find this setting either. A 12 month subscription to Microsoft 365 comes with many of the Geo computers which gives you full access to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive. My keyboard has stopped working the tablet keyboard works fine and a usb external also works but I can’t find a way to get the main keyboard working. As others have said however, upon removing the entire bottom panel, it seems there is indeed a space where the card would sit, and I’m fairly sure that despite the physical port not being present, that the solder points likely exist where it would be (though I need to have a proper look after writing this). A premium full-metal exterior and 360-degree rotating hinge deliver style and versatility tablet mode for the sofa, laptop mode for the desk.

I was hoping that you might be able to check and confirm whice one it is and I could install it manually. A quick note to say thanks for the information which I’ve used to upgrade my GeoBook 3X (32GB eMMC N4200 processor from FiveTech) not quite the same as yours but remarkably similar with regards to upgrading the SSD. GeoFlex are touchscreen laptops that rotate 360-degrees, so you can transform yours from notebook to tablet, e-reader, or portable movie-screen in moments. Yup I followed the pdf for the offical drivers from Geo as per your guide and installed them and restarted. The included one-year subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal provides you with all the tools you need to get started immediately with premium Office apps including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook plus 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage to auto-save, keep in sync, and back up files and photos. So, I now have just Windows itself on the eMMC and all my Applications and Data are on a SanDisk Ultra Fit 64G USB card which is barely noticeable at the side of the machine. This isn’t massive by today’s standards but is generally adequate for a browser and e-mail client open at the same time with some room to spare. The SSD had been working fine, and had my rEFInd boot menu and Linux setup on it, however the battery was reported missing despite seeming to power the device just fine.
